Please be aware that the call schedule posted below does not reflect limitations in immediate availability that may occur from time to time when the on-call physician is attending to direct patient care responsibilities which may preclude the receipt of telephone calls. While one of us will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to address the needs of established Digestive Health patients, there are times that a gastroenterologist is not immediately available for emergencies at Mercy Regional Medical Center (see *No GI beneath the following calendar). Biliary endoscopy services (ERCP) at Mercy Regional Medical Center are available on a limited basis.
*No GI means that no Digestive Health physician is providing backup Emergency Department GI call for Mercy Regional Medical Center during the specified block of time. A physician may or may not be physically available at Digestive Health's office or the Southwest Endoscopy Center, but limited coverage of the practice for established Digestive Health patients will be available.
