Please be aware that the call schedule posted below does not reflect limitations in immediate availability that may occur from time to time when the on-call physician is attending to direct patient care responsibilities which may preclude the receipt of telephone calls. While one of us will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to address the needs of established Digestive Health patients, there are times that a gastroenterologist is not immediately available for emergencies at Mercy Regional Medical Center. Biliary endoscopy services (ERCP) at Mercy Regional Medical Center may only be available during those periods covered by Drs. Gerstenberger or Saslow.

*No GI means that no Digestive Health physician is providing backup Emergency Department call for Mercy Regional Medical Center during the specified block of time. A physician may or may not be available at Digestive Health's office, but some coverage of the practice for established Digestive Health patients will be available.
