This anatomical drawing shows the major organs of the GI tract, though neglects to show the midsection of the small intestine, the jejunum, which is downstream from the duodenum (section of small intestine as it leaves the stomach) and upstream of the ileum (section of small intestine entering the colon). The colon is also called the large intestine.
